Love Supreme Jazz Festival returns to the South Downs this weekend
Europe's largest outdoor jazz festival returns to the South Downs this weekend, and it is right on Brighton's doorstep. Loyle Carner, Ezra Collective and De La Soul lead a staggering three days of jazz, soul, funk and R&B just twenty minutes from the city.
If you are still deciding what to do this weekend, here is the answer. Love Supreme Jazz Festival takes over Glynde Place in East Sussex from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 July 2026, bringing global superstars, jazz legends and the brightest new talent to one of the most beautiful settings in the country, all a short hop from Brighton.
Three nights, three headliners
The 2026 edition is led by three of the most exciting names in music. Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective headline Friday night and curate the opening day under their Temple Of Joy banner. Loyle Carner makes his Love Supreme debut as Saturday headliner, fresh off a sold out run at Brixton Academy. And hip-hop legends De La Soul close the festival on Sunday with what is billed as their only full band UK performance of 2026.
A lineup stacked from top to bottom
Beyond the headliners, the bill reads like a who's who of soul, funk and jazz. Expect Motown royalty, disco icons, chart favourites and genuine jazz greats across the weekend.

More than the main stage
Love Supreme has always been about discovery as much as headliners. The New Generation Jazz stage returns to shine a light on emerging talent, including ORBIT and the Tomorrow's Warriors Junior Band, while the One Jazz stage showcases contemporary acts such as QOW Trio and Sula. Bands & Voices brings live music, movement and community-led workshops.
The late-night programme grows again in 2026. Friday night at Supreme Standards opens with Anderson .Paak performing as DJ Pee .Wee, alongside Horse Meat Disco and Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy. Across the weekend, curated takeovers from Mr Bongo, re:sonate and Tru Thoughts push global sounds and rare selections deep into the night.
Away from the music there is plenty more to enjoy, with wellness and yoga sessions, a dedicated Kids Area, two Supremium VIP areas, an on-site Ottolenghi restaurant, and the Jazz Lounge hosting artist interviews, talks and screenings.
How to get there and get tickets
Glynde Place sits just outside Lewes, around twenty minutes from Brighton by road, with Glynde railway station a short walk from the site. Weekend, camping and day tickets are all available, so whether you want the full three-day experience or just one unmissable day, there is an option for you.
