Rum and Reggae Fest brings a full day of sunshine sound to Brighton seafront
One of the biggest reggae parties of the summer is rolling into Central Park on Brighton seafront this July, with a lineup stacked from midday till late.
Get your sunniest shirt out of the wardrobe, because Rum and Reggae Fest lands at Central Park on Brighton Seafront on Saturday 4 July 2026, running a full ten and a half hours from noon until half ten at night. Think sound system culture, rum in the sunshine, Jamaican street food and a proper carnival atmosphere right on the coast.
It is one day only, all ages welcome in the daytime, and it is shaping up to be one of the standout outdoor events of the Brighton summer.
Who is playing Rum and Reggae Fest Brighton
The bill is led by the mighty Gentleman's Dub Club, one of the best live reggae and dub acts in the country, alongside London ska-punk favourites The Skints. Dub legend Mad Professor and Clash collaborator and broadcaster Don Letts bring serious pedigree to the decks.
- Gentleman's Dub Club
- The Skints
- Mad Professor
- Don Letts
- Jungle Cakes: Ed Solo, Deekline and Serial Killaz ft Mad Sam and Jodian Natty, an exclusive reggae to jungle set
- Eva Lazarus

- Hosted by Kaya Fyah
There is a real range here, from deep roots and dub to a special reggae to jungle crossover from the Jungle Cakes crew, so whether you are there for the skanking or the bass, you are covered.
More than just the music
This is built as a proper festival day out, not just a stage and a bar. Expect a full carnival village wrapped around the music, with something going on wherever you wander.
Add in the seafront setting and the summer sun, and it is about as close to a Caribbean carnival as Brighton gets.
How to get tickets
Tickets are on sale now through Skiddle, and for a full day festival with this lineup they are strong value. With one day only and a stacked bill, this is one Brighton crowds will not want to miss.
