Brighton's Oldest Primary School Voted to Close After 1,300-Signature Petition Fails

Middle Street Primary School in Brighton will close on 31 August 2026 after councillors voted to approve the decision at a special meeting on 21 May, despite a 1,300-signature petition from parents.
