Who is dancing

ATG Tickets says this is the second time Ballet Nights has come to the theatre in 2026, after what it calls a huge success in the spring. One Dance UK’s event page lists the earlier Brighton date as 18 March 2026 and describes the show as a variety evening that mixes dance and live music.

The December programme is led by Alina Cojocaru OBE, described as a World Star and former Principal of The Royal Ballet. Paul Marque, an Étoile of the Paris Opera, appears with fellow Paris Opera star Bleuenne Battistoni.

New work by Kim Brandstrup

The listing says the programme has a double thread of work by choreographer Kim Brandstrup. Alina Cojocaru dances new choreography he created, while Seirian Griffiths, described as an emerging star of UK contemporary dance, performs an extract from his award-winning Breaking Bach.

The rest of the line-up

Laurel Dalley Smith. Described as a star of the Martha Graham Dance Company.

James Wilton Dance. Described as a leading independent UK contemporary dance company with a large social media following.

Liam Woodvine. An emerging Bajan dance artist.

Patrick Alexander Keefe. An English National Opera Harewood Artist.

Acosta Dance Foundation and Rambert School. Both are named as representing new futures in dance.

The full line-up is also in the programme PDF on the ATG page, and the listing carries praise for Ballet Nights from The Times, The Guardian and Arts Review UK.
