Beatles magic comes to Brighton seafront

The Swinging Sixties are returning to the Brighton coast for one night only. On Friday 26 June 2026 the world's No.1 Beatles tribute act, Bootleg Beatles, bring their legendary live show to Central Park on Brighton Seafront, with the sea as the backdrop and a full evening of Fab Four classics in the summer air. From Love Me Do to Let It Be, this is the closest thing to seeing the real thing.

Presented by Live Republic, the open air concert lands a band with a genuine claim to being the most successful tribute act in the world right on Brighton's doorstep, with special support on the night from Rolling Stones tribute The Rolling Clones. Two of the biggest bands of the Sixties, back to back, beside the sea.

The most successful Beatles tribute in the world

Bootleg Beatles are not your average tribute act. Since the 1980s the band have played over 4,500 shows, and along the way they have performed at some of the most iconic stages on earth, including the Royal Albert Hall, Glastonbury Festival and Wembley Stadium. Their annual UK tour was established in 1990 and has been a fixture of the live calendar ever since, earning them international acclaim and a reputation as the closest experience there is to a live Beatles concert.

What sets them apart is an obsessive commitment to getting it right. The band tour with a live orchestra and stick to a strict everything live policy, with no backing tracks and no synthesised strings, recreating the sound of the Beatles note for note. The mop tops, the Chelsea boots, the Sgt Pepper tunics and every tiny vocal inflection are all meticulously studied, which is exactly why they have earned the billing as the world's premier Beatles band.

A history worthy of the Fab Four

This is a band with a story that reads like a who's who of music history. They first played Glastonbury in 1994, watched from the crowd by members of Oasis, Blur and Cast, and went on to become Glastonbury regulars over the following decades. In a moment of pure Beatles history, they played the rooftop of 3 Savile Row in London on 30 January 1999, a nod to the Beatles' own final public performance at the very same spot exactly 30 years earlier.

Over the years their shows have drawn some remarkable guests from the audience, including Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, the legendary Beatles producer George Martin and the late Queen Elizabeth II. Few tribute acts anywhere can point to a guest list quite like that, and it speaks to just how respected the band have become in their own right.

Support from The Rolling Clones

No tribute to the Beatles would be complete without their great rivals, and the Brighton show brings that rivalry to the seafront. Special support on the night comes from The Rolling Clones, a Rolling Stones tribute delivering the biggest hits from Mick, Keith and the band for the ultimate sixties rock and roll experience.

It makes for a perfect double bill, taking the crowd from the Fab Four's harmonies to the swagger of the Stones, and capturing the spirit of British rock and roll at its absolute peak across one unforgettable evening by the sea.

Where to find it

The Bootleg Beatles play Central Park on Brighton Seafront on Madeira Drive, BN2 1FY, on Friday 26 June 2026, running from 6pm to 10.30pm. It is the perfect length for a warm early summer evening out on the coast.

The site sits on the lower seafront down at the Black Rock end of Madeira Drive, near the Marina, just along from the restored Temple cafe and the Reading Room. It is within easy walking distance of the city centre, the Palace Pier and Brighton's bus and train links, making it one of the easiest event sites in the city to reach without a car. If you fancy a bite or a coffee before the doors open, Temple and the Reading Room are both right on the doorstep, with FIKA at Sea Lanes and the Yellowave cafe a short stroll west along the prom.

A night out for all ages

This is one for all the family. The show is open to ages 4 and over, so it works for parents and grandparents who grew up with the records and for younger fans discovering the songs for the first time. Anyone under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult aged 21 or over, and parents or guardians retain full responsibility for their child throughout.

If anyone in your group needs accessibility facilities, the organisers ask that you arrange this through the ticketing partner after booking, so it is worth sorting that in advance. Essential companion arrangements should also be confirmed with customer support before buying a second ticket.

Tickets and prices

Tickets for The Bootleg Beatles at Brighton Seafront are on sale now through official ticketing partner Skiddle, and they are moving fast. The First Release has already sold out, the Second Release at £33.80 is listed as selling quickly, and the Final Release at £37.10 is yet to go on sale, so the cheapest remaining options are unlikely to last.

A Duo Ticket for two people aged 12 and over is £26.40 and on sale for a limited time, while a Family Ticket covering two adults and two children, or one adult and three children, comes in at £20.35. Children's Tickets for ages 4 to 12 are £18.15 each. With the band's reputation and the one night only seafront setting, this is not one to leave to the last minute.

Refunds are only available if the event is cancelled or postponed, so do check the date works for you before booking, and consider the refund protection option at checkout if you want the extra cover.

One night on the seafront

Brighton has always had a soft spot for live music, and a night of the Beatles and the Stones played live by the sea is about as good as a summer evening gets. Whether you grew up with the original records or you are hearing the songs fresh, The Bootleg Beatles deliver the closest thing to seeing the real Fab Four that anyone alive today is ever likely to experience.

Grab your tickets, bring the family and get ready to sing along to every word as Brighton seafront turns back the clock to the Sixties for one unforgettable night.
