Brighton goes country this June
Brighton is about to swap the South Downs for the Deep South for one day only. On Sunday 21 June 2026 the seafront becomes a slice of the American heartland as The Road to Nashville rolls into Central Park on Brighton Seafront for a full day of live country music, line dancing and Wild West fun beside the sea. Billed as the biggest family friendly country party of the summer, it arrives on the coast with most of its ticket releases already sold out.
The touring festival, run by promoter Live Republic, has already sold out venues in cities including Sheffield and Leeds during its 2026 run, and Brighton is one of the few outdoor seafront dates on the whole tour. For one Sunday only, Madeira Drive trades its usual sea air for the smell of barbecue smoke, the sound of fiddles and the sight of cowboy boots on the prom.
A taste of Nashville on Brighton seafront
The Road to Nashville describes itself as the ultimate country music tribute festival, promising over ten hours of live music in a single day. The pitch is simple. Take the biggest names in country and modern crossover music, bring in some of the best tribute performers in the business, and stage the whole thing live with full bands rather than backing tracks, all with ocean views as the backdrop.
What makes the Brighton date stand out from the rest of the tour is the setting. Most stops on the run take place in warehouses and city venues, but Brighton gets the full outdoor seafront treatment at Central Park on Madeira Drive, with summer sun and a proper festival atmosphere built for the whole family. As the organisers put it, the Road to Nashville is trading the desert for the seaside.
The full lineup of tributes
The day is built around live tribute performances celebrating some of the most loved names in country and crossover music. The Brighton bill brings together tributes to Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson and Morgan Wallen, alongside tributes to Dolly Parton, Zach Bryan and Shania Twain. Rounding out the lineup are tributes to Post Malone, Ella Langley, Miley Cyrus and Beyonce, giving the day a mix of traditional country, modern hits and the crossover anthems that have brought a whole new audience to the genre.
Every act performs live, which is the part the organisers are proudest of. This is not a club night of country playlists, it is a full programme of live music running across the day, so there is always something on stage from the moment the gates open at midday.
Songs to expect across the day
If you want a sense of what the day will actually sound like, the organisers have shared a taste of the kind of songs that fill the set. Expect singalong country anthems and crossover classics that work just as well for diehard fans as they do for families dipping a toe into the genre for the first time. From feel good barn burners to the big emotional ballads, the programme is designed to keep the energy up from midday right through to the evening.
It is the kind of soundtrack that gets a whole crowd moving, which is exactly why the line dancing is such a big part of the day.
More than just music
The Road to Nashville is as much a day out as it is a gig. Beyond the main stage, the site is dressed in immersive Western themed decor and packed with things to do between sets. There is line dancing for anyone who fancies learning the steps, axe throwing for the brave, and a rodeo bull for those who want to test how long they can hang on.
Roaming performers and entertainers work the crowd throughout the day, and there are vintage fairground games to keep younger visitors busy. When hunger strikes, the food offering leans fully into the theme, with barbecue and smoker food vendors serving up the kind of low and slow cooking that pairs perfectly with a day of country music in the sun.
A family friendly day out
One of the biggest draws of the Brighton date is that it is built for all ages. The event is family friendly, so this is one for parents, grandparents and kids alike rather than a strictly over 18s affair. Cowboy hats and boots are very much encouraged, and the beach setting means you can make a full day of it on the seafront either side of the festival.
It is worth noting that no pets are allowed at the event. If anyone in your group needs accessibility facilities, the organisers ask that you arrange this through the ticketing partner after booking, so it is worth sorting that in advance.
Where to find it
The Road to Nashville takes over Central Park on Brighton Seafront on Madeira Drive, BN2 1FY, on Sunday 21 June 2026. Doors open at midday and the event runs right through until 10.30pm, with last entry at 5pm, so it is worth arriving in good time to make the most of the full day.
The site sits on the lower seafront down at the Black Rock end of Madeira Drive, near the Marina, just along from the restored Temple cafe and the Reading Room. It is within easy walking distance of the city centre, the Palace Pier and Brighton's bus and train links, making it one of the easiest festival sites in the city to reach without a car. If you fancy a coffee before the gates open, Temple and the Reading Room are both right on the doorstep, with FIKA at Sea Lanes and the Yellowave cafe a short stroll west along the prom.
Tickets and prices
Tickets for The Road to Nashville Brighton are on sale now through official ticketing partner Skiddle, but they are going fast. The first four general entry releases have already sold out, and at the time of writing only the fifth release remains for general admission at £37.10, listed as on sale for just a few more days.
A Family Ticket covering two adults and two children, or one adult and three children, is priced at £66.25 with only a few left, while Children's Tickets for ages 4 to 12 are £18.40 each. With so many tiers already gone, it is not one to leave to the last minute. You can book directly through the official Skiddle ticket page. Refunds are only available if the event is cancelled or postponed, so do check the date works for you before booking, and consider the refund protection option at checkout if you want the extra cover.
One day only on the coast
Brighton has never been short of a festival or a party, but a full day country music festival on the seafront is something genuinely different for the city. Whether you are a longtime country fan, a Beyonce or Post Malone crossover convert, or just after a fun family day out with great food and live music by the sea, The Road to Nashville is shaping up to be one of the standout summer days on the Brighton calendar.
Boots, hats and beach vibes at the ready. For one Sunday in June, Brighton goes country.
