OffersOn is calling on Brighton's local businesses to get listed as it launches across the city

A Brighton entrepreneur who couldn't work out which local pubs had deals on a Tuesday night has turned that everyday frustration into a business. OffersOn, a new real-time offers platform founded by Olivia Gray, is launching in Brighton with a simple promise: one place to see what's on near you, right now, and businesses fully in control of their own deals.

OffersOn connects local businesses with nearby customers through live, location-based offers. A handful of well-known Brighton names are already on board as the platform builds its network, including The Good Times Pubs, Halisco, Rumour Has It, At The Table, Little Bruce Coffee and Deniz Burger, with the first focus on the city's hospitality scene.

It started with a Tuesday night

The idea was born on an ordinary Tuesday night in 2025, when Gray and her wife were at home trying to decide whether to go out. They knew some nearby pubs ran Tuesday offers, but when they searched social media to find out what was actually on that evening, they came up blank. Deals were scattered across different accounts, buried under other posts, or impossible to tell whether they were still running. There was no single place showing what was available nearby, right then.

It was a very ordinary Tuesday night. We were deciding whether to go out and knew there were pubs nearby that sometimes had offers on, but we couldn't easily find out what was actually available. That's when we thought: why isn't there one place that simply shows you what's on nearby, right now? Olivia Gray, founder of OffersOn

Putting businesses back in control

As Gray developed the concept, the focus shifted. The real opportunity wasn't just another place for people to hunt for discounts, it was giving businesses a simple way to use offers on their own terms, without handing control of their promotions to a third-party platform. On OffersOn, the business decides what to offer, when to run it and when it ends.

A pub can push a Tuesday night deal when it knows it has spare capacity. A restaurant can flag last-minute availability. A café can promote a breakfast offer during a quiet morning. A shop can run a time-limited promotion to pull in people already nearby. Crucially, it's the business that decides what makes commercial sense, not the platform.

Businesses know their customers, their products and their margins better than anyone else. They shouldn't have to fit into a one-size-fits-all discount model. If a venue wants to fill a quiet Tuesday, they should be able to decide exactly what they want to offer and when. Olivia Gray, founder of OffersOn

How it works

1 Spot a slow moment A quiet Tuesday afternoon, or ten pastries left over at closing.
2 Launch a live deal Open the dashboard, set the discount and the timeframe, hit publish.
3 Welcome customers Nearby locals see the deal live, walk in and fill the register.

For consumers, OffersOn is completely free. There's no subscription and no buying vouchers up front. For businesses, subscriptions start from £15 per month, a direct line to people nearby without the weeks of planning and cost that traditional advertising takes.

Built in Brighton, with bigger plans

Brighton and Hove is the first city for OffersOn, starting with hospitality before expanding to other businesses with physical premises. The longer-term ambition is to roll the platform out to other UK cities, giving people an easy way to discover what's happening around them while giving local businesses a more flexible way to drive footfall.

Brighton has an incredible independent business community and a culture of discovering new places. We wanted to build OffersOn here, with Brighton businesses, and prove it can make a genuine difference locally before taking it to other cities. It started with a Tuesday night in our living room, and we're excited to see where we can take it. Olivia Gray, founder of OffersOn

The founder behind the idea

Gray brings more than ten years of business development and project management experience to OffersOn. One of her most successful projects saw her work with the national charity Cancer Support UK to create a suite of training on talking about cancer in the workplace, used by organisations including Unilever, British Transport Police, the NHS and Mondelez.

My career has always involved understanding a problem, bringing people together and turning an idea into something that works in practice. OffersOn is a very different project, but the principle is the same. We have to understand what businesses actually need and create something that genuinely delivers value for them and for consumers.
