Brighton and Hove City Council is urging beachgoers to use bins or take their rubbish home after more than 20 tonnes of waste was cleared from the seafront during the May bank holiday weekend.

Brighton and Hove City Council is reintroducing a patrol boat to the seafront before the end of June 2026, working alongside the RNLI as part of wider summer safety measures.
