About 40 Brighton and Hove businesses are now live on OffersOn, the Brighton-founded map of live local deals, and 4,085 people have used the map since it launched in August 2026. The figures come from founder Olivia Gray, who answered ImJustBrighton’s questions by email on 23 October.

People using the map. 4,085, of whom 2,532 have come back.

What OffersOn does

OffersOn shows live, location-based offers from local businesses. People open the map, tap a pin to see what is on near them, select “I’m using this offer” and show their phone at the venue. Businesses choose their own offers and decide when they go live, so a pub can fill a quiet Tuesday or a cafe can promote a slow morning.
Gray had the idea in 2025, after she and her wife struggled to find which nearby pubs had Tuesday night deals. We covered the launch in Brighton Founder Launches OffersOn: Live Local Deals Right When You Want Them, including the first venues on the map.
The numbers so far
Since launch, 4,085 people have used the map. Of those, 2,532 returned to it, and between them they opened 6,574 offers. Gray says the “I’m using this offer” button only arrived in the middle of September, so OffersOn is not sharing figures for it yet.
The offers people open most

Gray named four offers that are doing best on the map.
Rumour Has It. The happy hour offer, Sunday to Thursday, 5pm to 7pm. It has had the most visits.
Black Mocha. A free coffee with a bag of coffee beans, every day during opening hours. Gray says it has had “the most going for it”.
Pizzolo Bar. Three slices of Pizzolo for the price of two, every day from 11am to 9pm. It is closely following Black Mocha.
The Connaught. Half price Prosecco, all day Thursday and Friday.
What businesses are telling OffersOn
Gray says it is still early days, with businesses only just coming on board, so it is too soon to point to a single venue as a success story. She says the draw for businesses is control over how and when they promote themselves, whether that is filling quieter periods, attracting new customers or promoting an offer right now.
“We’re building those relationships one business at a time, and I want to make sure we can demonstrate genuine value rather than simply promise it. As more venues start using OffersOn, we’ll be able to share real stories of how it’s helping them connect with local customers.”

The hardest part so far, she says, is asking busy owners to find time for something new. She also has to explain that OffersOn is not another platform asking venues to discount everything or pay commission on sales. OffersOn’s website lists business pricing from £15 a month after a free trial.
What the ImJustBrighton partnership has done

The partnership, announced on 20 October, gives readers a direct link to the OffersOn consumer map and gives businesses a route to register their interest. Gray says the biggest benefit so far has been extra social media reach and a way to introduce OffersOn to a wider Brighton audience.
“ImJustBrighton has an established local following, and being able to connect with that community gives us a valuable platform to raise awareness of what we’re building.”

She adds that the aim is to turn that interest into more people using the map and more local businesses taking part. She says she was surprised by how much support there has been, from people sharing OffersOn in local Facebook groups to businesses embracing the idea.
The founder

Olivia Gray is a Brighton entrepreneur with more than ten years of business development and project management experience. She founded OffersOn after spotting how hard it was to find accurate, up-to-date information on what local venues were offering right now.
“Brighton has so many brilliant local businesses,” she says, “and I think we sometimes underestimate the difference we can make simply by choosing to support the places on our doorstep.”
What happens next
The immediate priority is to keep growing OffersOn across Brighton and Hove, bringing more businesses on board and getting more local people to use the map regularly. Food, drink and hospitality are the starting point, but Gray wants to include shops and other businesses with physical premises, from special promotions to surplus stock or an incentive to visit during a quiet period.
Once the model is established in Brighton and Hove, she wants to expand into neighbouring areas and, ultimately, other towns and cities. She did not give dates, and said over the coming months the focus is on growing the network of Brighton and Hove businesses.
“For me, success isn’t simply about being in as many places as possible. It’s about building something that genuinely works for local businesses and their communities, then replicating that model in other areas.”
