Plumpton Racecourse hosts the Monster Truck Firework Spectacular on Wednesday 4 November 2026, with five monster trucks, stunt shows and two low-noise firework displays. Gates open at 4pm, the event closes at 8pm and tickets start at £15 per person, according to organiser RA Monster Events.

What is on

The organiser lists five monster trucks: Blaze, Mustang Drift, Police, Mack Optimus and The Ram. Two more trucks, Red Dragon and Ice Phoenix, give passenger rides at £12 per person.

The line-up also includes Jack Dance Trials, StuntShowsUK and family character appearances. The evening ends with two low-noise firework displays.

Tickets and costs

Tickets start at £15 per person. The organiser sells them through its event page, booked through Ticket Tailor, and says the secure checkout shows current prices and availability, so check the total before paying.

The fairground rides, food and drink from the catering units cost extra. Red Dragon and Ice Phoenix passenger rides are £12 per person.

The organiser’s FAQ says children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, that some activities have age, height or health restrictions, and that ear protection is recommended for children who are sensitive to loud noises. Tickets are non-refundable unless RA Monster Events cancels the event, and ticket holders are told through its official channels if that happens.

For access, assistance requirements or carer ticket arrangements, the organiser asks visitors to contact its team before they travel.

Where it is

The event is at Plumpton Racecourse, Plumpton, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 3AL. The racecourse’s own website lists a main entrance via Ashurst Lane and a Railway Crossing entrance for its Village Enclosure.

For parking, the organiser’s FAQ says to follow the event’s parking information and the instructions of staff on arrival.

Weather on the night

It is an outdoor event and the organiser says ground conditions can change in wet weather, so it advises comfortable footwear and clothing for the forecast. The Met Office forecast for Plumpton Racecourse, checked on Tuesday 3 November, has 11C at 4pm falling to 9C by 8pm, feeling like 7C then 6C.

It shows sunny intervals early on, then partly cloudy, with a chance of rain of 10 per cent or less through the evening. Winds are 8 to 11 mph with gusts of 27 to 29 mph. For the rest of the week, see our Brighton weather forecast.

Bonfire Night is the following evening, Thursday 5 November. Our Lewes Bonfire guide has the road closures and last trains, and our Bonfire Night guide has the fireworks at Hove Cricket Ground.
