Brighton and Hove has launched Re:Frame, a new report setting out how to protect and grow the city's visual arts scene. The council says creative industries contribute over £1.5 billion and support 16,000 jobs, but the sector faces funding cuts and lost venues.

Brighton-based artists Stevoo Hide and Luan Luan wrote a tribute to Manu Chao called Ciao Manu Chao, recorded it live with Luan on sax and released it on his 65th birthday. The video has passed 200,000 views.
