A259 Hove to Brighton Cycle Lane Plans: 70 New Parking Spaces and a New Two-Way Lane

Brighton and Hove City Council wants your views on the next stretch of the A259 Active Travel Scheme between Fourth Avenue and West Street. The plans replace the wand-separated cycle lane with one two-way lane, add around 70 parking spaces and reinstate a westbound traffic lane in places. The survey closes at midnight on 25 October 2026.
