Provisional GCSE results for Brighton and Hove show 69% of students achieving combined English and Maths at grades 4 and above, up from 67% last year, as results nationally stay broadly static.

Councillors have agreed to consolidate Hove Park School onto its Nevill Campus from September 2028, closing the Valley Campus. The move responds to falling pupil numbers and promises improved SEND facilities.
