Paralympic champion Melanie Barratt is backing Gateway to the Sea, a new accessible sea swimming day at Sea Lanes Brighton on 27 June, helping blind and partially sighted people gain confidence in open water.

Emergency services were called to Brighton seafront at around 6.40am on Wednesday 3 June after a man was spotted in the water near Sea Lanes on Madeira Drive.
