NEWvember, a new two-week dining campaign from Restaurants Brighton, runs from Monday 9 to Sunday 22 November 2026, and bookings opened on Monday 2 November. On 2 November the campaign page listed 38 offers from restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars across Brighton, Hove, Patcham, Rottingdean, Ferring, Worthing and Waldron, from a £7 hot chocolate to an £80 steak and Malbec night for two.
The idea is to get people to try somewhere new. Restaurants Brighton, the hospitality promotions platform behind the campaign, says the offers are first-come, first-served and asks diners to mention NEWvember when they book. This guide goes through every offer by price, with the days, times and conditions given on each venue's offer page.
Set menus and lunch deals were already among the fastest-growing searches in the city. In our Brighton dining trends story, built on Restaurants Brighton's search data, searches for set menus were up 57% and lunch deals up 55% in the year to October 2026 compared with the year before.
NEWvember 2026: dates, how to book and what to know
Dates. Monday 9 to Sunday 22 November 2026. The campaign page says the offers are only available during this two-week window. The Metropole's £7 hot chocolate runs from 1 November.
Bookings. Open since Monday 2 November, on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to book. Book directly with each venue and mention NEWvember when you do. Each offer has its own page on the NEWvember campaign page with the booking link, phone number and address. A few offers use a code or a note instead: Embers asks for the code NEWVEMBER, Indian Summer asks for the code NEWvember and 24 hours' notice, and Kindling's Steak and Malbec Night asks for "STEAK & MALBEC" in the booking notes.
Days and times. Many offers only run on certain days or at certain hours, and the dates are listed venue by venue below, with a day-by-day guide further down.
Extra charges. Several venues add a discretionary service charge of 10% or 12.5%, and some offers exclude sides, supplements or substitutions. The Salt Room, The Coal Shed and Tutto are cashless venues.
Before you go. Restaurants Brighton says it cannot be responsible for the prices, opening times or menus featured, and asks diners to contact venues to check details.
The four launch offers

Restaurants Brighton named four venues in its launch press release, issued on Monday 2 November.
Embers, Brighton. Six sharing plates for £35 per person, built around live-fire cooking. The offer page says the Embers Feast is served between two, from 9 to 22 November, and comes with a complimentary NEWvember Fizz for everyone who books with the code NEWVEMBER. Embers is also first in Best Sunday Roast on Restaurants Brighton's BRAVO Awards 2026 winners page.
The Salt Room, Brighton. The press release says two courses for £20 or three for £25 at the seafront restaurant. The offer page now lists a three-course NEWvember Feast at £35 per person, Monday to Friday from 12pm to 6pm, with views across the sea. Both come from Restaurants Brighton, so check with the restaurant which offer applies when you book.
The Greenhouse, Hove. The Novemberfest Bavarian Feast at £38, or £46 with two one-pint steins of Brinkhoff's: bratwurst, roast pork and chicken schnitzel with roast potatoes, braised onions, sauerkraut, caraway cabbage, pickles and mustard.
Crabshack, Worthing. Two courses for £26 or three for £30, at lunch and dinner, at its Marine Parade restaurant.
Why Restaurants Brighton launched NEWvember
Restaurants Brighton says November can be a quieter month for local hospitality, and that NEWvember is meant to get people out exploring the city's food scene. The campaign includes venues that placed in this year's BRAVO Awards. Nick Harvey, founder of Restaurants Brighton, said in the launch press release:
“We’re always looking for ways to champion the hospitality businesses that make Brighton & Hove one of the UK’s most distinctive food destinations and NEWvember presents a key addition to our myriad of annual campaigns. We also understand that exclusive, money-saving offers enable more people to treat themselves to a meal out and share in our city’s wonderful food and drink scene.”
Nick Harvey, Restaurants Brighton
On what diners and venues get out of it, he added:
“For diners, the appeal goes beyond a good-value meal. It’s a chance to discover the restaurant they have walked past countless times, try a cuisine they have been curious about or turn an ordinary midweek evening into something worth looking forward to. For participating businesses, it is an opportunity to welcome new customers, showcase their strengths and build relationships that last long after the campaign ends.”
Nick Harvey, Restaurants Brighton
Restaurants Brighton says it will promote participating venues through the campaign page, social media, its weekly newsletter and wider local promotion.
