The Colonnade public toilets on Brighton seafront have reopened for the summer after structural work, though the Changing Places facility stays closed until winter and a wider refurbishment is being planned.

Brighton and Hove City Council is investing a further £1.3 million to improve bin collection reliability and reduce missed bins, while continuing to explore a possible future move from weekly to fortnightly rubbish collections. No decision has yet been made.
