Movers Mansion returns as the summer finale on 5 September with Beyond Chicago leading across Tide and Horizon
South City Events, trading as SCE, has come out of the blocks fast on the Brighton house scene. Working alongside Chemistry and Canterbury Vibes, the promoter has a confirmed run of dates through 2026, not a one off.
They launched on 3 July with Summer Starter, a Flex UK show at Tide Nightclub billed as event 001. Movers Mansion follows on 5 September as the summer finale, and the calendar keeps going after that.
On Saturday 5 September, Horizon Nightclub and Tide Nightclub go back to back for Movers Mansion, an Ibiza tribute across both rooms on a single wristband.
Horizon and Tide are neighbours at the Kings Road Arches, with Tide attached to Horizon, so once you are in you move freely between the two. There is no genre split. It is house across both clubs. Tide brings the lights and what South City rate as the best sound system in Brighton for a nightclub.
This is an 18+ event and physical ID is required on the door. A driving licence, provisional licence or passport will do.
The first headliner is Beyond Chicago, the UK tech house duo of Will Marriott and Louis Smyth.
The pair broke through in 2021 with their first record deal on Defected's D4 Dance label, and this year they have held a summer residency at Obeach Ibiza. Movers Mansion brings that Ibiza sound straight to Horizon.
A second headliner is released on 1 August, playing in Tide, with Beyond Chicago in Horizon. Support DJs are still to be announced.

South City is opening the door to new house DJs. There is a competition to win a slot opening the Ibiza style event on 5 September, alongside the headliners.
With the night capped at 1,500 across the two joined venues, it is a real stage to play on. To enter, per South City:
